London is coming into line with Milan and Paris to launch a three-day menswear fashion event called ‘London Collections: Men’. This event will be held in June 2012 and will show case the designers 2013 collections.
Dylan Jones, the editor of the much respected GQ magazine, confirmed the dates and outlined plans for the event. Dylan is the chairman of the new menswear committee, which includes Christopher Bailey from Burberry and Tom Ford.
Some of the labels will include, Aquascutum, Gieves & Hawkes, Richard James, Margaret Howell and high street brand Topshop.
The British menswear industry is growing at a healthy rate with 2011 global menswear sales increasing by 9% to £21.4 billion.
