I've been to DC 7 times, and always take the red line, and switch at Ft. Totten to whatever else I need. Horrible horrible day for a city I LOVE visiting.

We used to practice disaster drills for the DC Metro, that involved train collisions, but nothing with them stacked ontop of eachother! Ouch!

Absolutely awful. Haven't seen any explanation yet. Afraid this is more texting operator error. If so, Cell Block Technology could have prevented it.
