I was lucky enough to witness this amazing but aggressive behaviour between these two Black-tailed Godwits in Norfolk. The sun had slightly started to set here and this pair of birds where fighting over an area of territory the other didn’t wish to move from. What resulted was a series of images where one tried to drown the other and I did post an image before. The action stopped slightly then started again which allowed me to compose better. I am editing those images now and wanted to share one of my favourite with you all here. The wing pattern is beautiful here and the action and movement captured really adds that drama to this image for me, beauty and cruelty all in one image, but that is mother nature :0) which is hard to watch and understand at times.
