 of Tacoma Wash. assigned to the 1st Battalion 187th Infantry Regiment 3rd Brigade Combat Team 101st Airborne Division Fort Campbell Ky.; killed Jan. 1 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee during patrol operations in As Sinia Iraq.  Arkansas soldier killed in Iraq  SPRINGDALE Ark. — An Arkansas family has lost a relative to the war in Iraq.  Army Staff Sgt. Christopher J. Vanderhorn37 of Bellevue Wash.  Died Sunday in Sinia Iraq when a roadside bomb exploded near his Humvee.  Vanderhorn was married to Teresa Graham Vanderhorn who graduated from Springdale High School in 1987 and the University of Arkansas in 1997. Teresa Graham’s father Jerrel Graham and her stepmother live in Huntsville. Her brother Tony Graham lives in Farmington. Her mother is deceased.  Christopher Vanderhorn served more than seven years in the military before re-enlisting in 2004. The Vanderhorns were married in 1991. They had two children Max5 and Liam 4 months.  Vanderhorn was a member of the 1st Battalion 187th Infantry Regiment 3rd Brigade Combat Team 101st Airborne Division out of Fort Campbell Ky.  — Associated Press  Operation Iraqi Freedom
