First dry fit of ribs on the stabilator spar, including leading and trailing edge pieces. Hope to glue together yet tonight.

Just to clarify: the rudder ribs were cut on a band saw (each one a different size) but these ribs were cut with a router & template.

Never mind. I just read you used a band saw. Very nice fit!

Looks clean! Did you cut out those ribs yourself? Whadya use to cut?

The plans call for separate pieces of 1/16" ply for leading edge, 1 top, 1 bottom. I'm gonna do aluminum and both glue (T-88) and nail in place.

The aft end of the fuselage is around 6" wide with 3 large eye bolts attached off the end. Corresponding eye bolts attached to stab spar make the hinge.

It has a 7 foot span. The end of the fuselage fits in the open space in the leading edge strip, right back to the stab spar.
