I recommend ..... Paris, a city that was the cradle of the literary debut, pays tribute to Ernest Hemingway for 50 years after his death and does so with style, choosing the precious Montblanc Espace (7 rue de la Paix) to stage an exhibition of the very special Hemingway, a life in images.
Featuring the work of the Dalmatian-Venetian Bobo Ivancich Marquis de la Torriente, contemporary artist who lives and works between New York and Venice, which portrayed the great writer from multiple angles, boasting a privileged bond with him. Aunt Adriana, in fact, the "Renata" the evocative novel set in the lagoon (Across the River and Into the Trees), was a muse of the great Hemingway, the woman for whom he wrote that book. "The Hemingway" Ivancich says, "I still have some memories: the letters, a leopard skin thrown in Africa and given it to my aunt, a typewriter."
The exhibition is open from 15 December 2011-30 January 2013, is preceded by a sparkling openings called Movable Feast, during which, along with cocktails, cigars, mohito, music and celebrities (among acquaintances of Ivancich citing Jude Law and Quentin Tarantino ), will be unveiled the glass sculpture that the artist Ali BL created specifically for the event.
