We had an identical skid mark this past spring. Hubby raked, seeded & sprinkled fairy dust (peat moss) and the grass grew in to look more beautiful than what was already there. Wet country roads - so dangerous.

Injury to body AND property, though of different scopes, is distressing. Be it fishing pole, grasses or granny's chandelier, not relishing wreckage is standard among us. Polite respect when we vent to one another over irksome messes is good humane stuff.

That grass is going to drive you crazy. It takes a few months to fill in. Good thing no one was injured.
