On 12/6/2011 at approximately 0040 hours, Officers with the Fortuna Police Department contacted a subject who gave the officers a False name. After follow-up on the given name and identification of the subject from Tattoo's observed during the contact, he was later identified as Parolee At Large Dwayne Fields. Officers responded to the 500 Block of 14th Street and located Fields in a locked bedroom. Fields was advised that the residence was surrounded and that he needed to surrender. After approximately three minutes, Fields surrenderd to Officers without incident. Fields was booked into Humboldt County Jail for his Outstanding Parole warrant and for giving a false name to a Police Officer.
