The officer should not have asked you to delete the photo and it's right for you to draw attention to this. You are not the first person to raise this and it is something we are addressing through training and a booklet. Thank-you for responding politely

The officer was responding to an emergency that had been resolved before your conversation, so the van was necessarily parked in a disabled bay. But, as you clearly state, this is not the real issue here. The officer was not justified in asking you to del

interesting and provocative though. I once saw a police car speed through a camera triggering it. I thought it must be an emergency until I caught up with the car at the next lights. Calm as you like. annoyed me it did.

Now there is a lots of spaces to park in. Oh and as the photo is YOUR property they need a court order to request deletion. Or they use Terrorism Act to arrest you imagine that in court.

Its not fair to make a judgement out of context. Why were they parked there? was it an emergency. we'd be the first to complain when the police jump to conclusions.
