Arsène Wenger wants Arsenal's supporters to show respect for the Club's former players #Nasri and #Clichy when they return to Emirates Stadium.

Tuesday night's Carling Cup Quarter-Final against Manchester City may see Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy make their first appearances against the team they left in the summer while Kolo Toure could also feature.

However, Wenger wants the Arsenal fans to focus on those wearing red and white.

"You want to respect our players who have played for us," he said. "That's what we expect.

"It's always more important to support our players rather than be negative against the players of Man City. What is important is that we are united to win the game.

"Also, in the Carling Cup we have different people who are very young," added the manager.

"It's an occasion where we make the prices very cheap for young people and you feel there is happiness to be there on the night. Hopefully we can keep them happy."
