Airman dies from head injury in Afghanistan  Staff report  An airman deployed with a provincial reconstruction team in eastern Afghanistan  Died Nov. 12 while maintaining a communications tower.  Senior Airman Andrew S. Bubacz23 suffered the fatal head injury while working at a base in Nuristan province. He was flown to the hospital at Bagram Air Base where he was pronounced dead.  Bubacz of Dalzell S.C. was assigned to the 97th Communications Squadron at Altus Air Force Base Okla.  No other details of the fatal incident were released. An investigation is underway according to a statement from the 97th Air Mobility Wing at Altus.  ""My heartfelt condolences go out to Sergeant Bubacz's family as well as to all of his friends and co-workers here at the Mighty 97th wing commander Col. Ty Thomas, said. This is a sad day for us. Andrew was a great airman and we will miss him dearly."" Operation Enduring Freedom"
