Its the same thing. Red Bull is the direct translation for Krating Daeng in Thai. KD created in Thailand, but in 1980's adapted and marketed globally by some Austria entrepeneur. Something like that...

Is it carbonated? Wiki says krating daeng is not carbonated and sweeter compared to redbull.
