We said goodbye to my Uncle Cy this week and we will all miss him terribly. There's peace and comfort in knowing that he joins my mother in a beautiful place; a place I sometimes visit in my dreams, of endless laughter, adventures, and fish to be caught. Uncle Cy made my childhood magical and those days will forever live on in a special place in my heart. You are loved; incredibly. This is a high school painting of my brother's and an all time Team Abdelnour favorite. It is a recreation of a 1977 photograph of my uncle and my Mom, taken by my pops while journeying through Canada -- I always knew I got "it" from somewhere. This inspired work of art and love will always be a family treasure, and is currently displayed proudly on the wall at my Situ's. Bro Bro, you are amazing. I once heard that our siblings are our truest soulmates and if that's the case, then I've got one hell of a partner in crime. Just another adventure... ♥
