Kan.; assigned to the 1st Battalion 32nd Infantry Regiment 3rd Brigade Combat Team 10th Mountain Division Fort Drum N.Y.; Died Oct. 31 in Wygal Valley Afghanistan of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Also killed were Maj. Douglas E. Sloan and Pfc. Alex Oceguera.Operation Enduring Freedom
