All those nasty toxins stay in the blood stream, causing illness, rather than being concentrated into the urine

The problem in kidney failure is that the kidneys stop concentrating the urine so that it remains diluted, almost like water

& the one on the right is 1010, which is NOT CONCENTRATED. (remember, pure water is 1000)

When specific gravity is measured (using a scope thingie), it's > 1050 on left (which means CONCENTRATED)

It's much less concentrated than it should be. It looks much paler, but that *can* fool you.Best to do lab test.

I happened to see a cat dying of renal failure tonight. That's his urine, on the right. Much too dilute.
