Belize mourns today the passing of the Father of the Nation, and our country's first Prime Minister. My gratitude to Rt. Hon. George Cadle Price for his dedication, and service to the nation of Belize. He was to us the humblest citizen in all the land; a knight in shining armor leading the way out of the darkness of colonialism. Mr. Price was a towering figure in Belizean history! My deepest sympathy to his family and may he rest in peace!
