Needles, CA: At last Tuesday’s Needles City Council Meeting, the City Council welcomed San Bernardino County Fire Department Division Chief John Salvate to Needles.

Salvate will be taking watch over the Needles area who former San Bernardino County Fire Department Battalion Chief Keith Peterson had served before retiring from the Fire Department in June 2011.


Due to the State Budget problems, some changes in the San Bernardino County Fire Department have been made to adapt to the current state California is in.

Salvate will be covering both the South Desert and Mountain Divisions of San Bernardino County, California.


Salvate is here ready to service the Needles area and work with the City of Needles on the future Fire Station that would be built in Needles.
