Feeding Ethiopia's Children 2 - Health workers speak to Firdoze’s mother. Two weeks ago, Firdoze weighed only 5.7 kilograms; with treatment, she has gained 0.7 kilograms. Drought threatens 4.8 million people in Ethiopia; the Government estimates 150,000 children under age five will soon require treatment for life-threatening malnutrition. Together, UNICEF and the Government are working to reach those in need.
