St. Bernard Day of Reflection Breakfast is underway. The event not only looks back on the destruction Hurricane Katrina left in it's path and the 163 lives lost in this parish but also celebrates how far the area has come in it's recovery. Senator Mary Landrieu estimates St Bernard Parish has recovered about 50 percent.
