After being received by the UNHCR and getting a medical screening, #refugees move on to the distribution managed by @CARE. Extremely malnourished people receive high-energy biscuits and plumpy nut, and every family gets a food ratio of 21 days. The food basket contains wheat flour, Corn Soy Blend, vegetable oil, maize/corn meal, beans, sugar and salt. New arrivals also receive non food items, which include plastic tarpaulins, kitchen sets, soap, blankets, plastic mats and 10 liter jerry cans.
