(Dallas, Texas) – Texas’s soulful R&B/hip hop producer/musician RC Williams releases the
first digital single, Summer Boo, from his upcoming debut solo album planned for release
this fall 2011.

The single, Summer Boo, which released on August 17th is a refreshingly smooth, finger-
snapping feel good record laced with Williams‟s signature production sounds and soulful
overtones.

Williams continues his ongoing collaboration with GRAMMY® award winning producer Jah
Born (Erykah Badu, The Cannabinoids, The Gritz Band) who co-produced the record. A
beat-maker by craft, Jah Born’s MPC3000 lays the sweet foundation for this fresh summer
love song.

Co-writers Claudia Melton and Corey Lacy bring a vocal harmony to the record that sets the
tone for a new anthem which comes hot on the heels of summer. This latest union
advances their like-minded mission of diversifying the face of R&B while sharpening hip-
hop's creative edges. Southern rapper, Big Hud, adds a sharp-zealous lyrical flow that
rounds out this exciting Dallas collaboration.

The single Summer Boo is the perfect introduction to Williams‟s debut solo album, which
will feature neo-soul queen Erykah Badu and an array of hip hop all-stars yet to be
announced.

Born in Dallas, Texas, RC Williams was raised in a loving family of professional musicians.
While attending Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing Arts (Roy Hargrove,
Edie Brickell, Erykah Badu, Nora Jones) he committed himself to learning jazz and
synthesizer combinations, while advancing to playing keyboards and the organ for
internationally celebrated gospel group, God’s Property. Since then, Williams has
performed alongside such great musical talents as Snoop Dogg, Jill Scott, Queen Latifah,
The Roots, Pharell Williams, Mos Def, Common, Talib Kweli, Kirk Franklin, Musiq Soul Child,
Bilah, N'Dambi, Floetry, The Game and Soulive just to name a few. In 2003, Williams was
nominated for three GRAMMY® awards for producing and writing on Erykah Badu’s
Universal Motown release of World Wide Underground.

Currently he is a core member of electronic production group, The Cannabinoids and tours
the world with Erykah Badu as the musical director for her legendary live show.
