@xworts @PC0101 that fire is OUR old technology burning ,like old pc set on fire to extract the metal for resell copper ,tons of old technology are sent to africa because is the cheapest way to get rid of it.
like hospital or dangerous plastic in china be
@xworts For the poor people there fire is the most convenient and cheapest „technology“. But it’s true that wealthier cooperatives also use it.
@Laplaceslaw11 This shot also shows Zambia #fromspace. Lake Bangweulu at -11.135287,29.712524 is in the bottom right corner.
@Astro_Ron #FromSpace @FragileOasis perhaps these "Tears of Fire coming from Earth" could be avoided with the proper technology
@Laplaceeslaw11 From May to September they are common there. Satellites monitor them #fromspace too. A shot from previous years where you may count them: http://1.usa.gov/qvclvD
@Laplaceeslaw11 These fires are not due to great heat but have been ignited intentionally by humans to clear pastures. The term for this is „agricultural fires“. #fromspace
@AstroRon#FromSpace these are "Tears of Fire coming from Earth"
