In response to the stifling heat, Metroplex Sam's Club donated 22 pallets—40,000 bottles—of water to The Salvation Army.

The bottled water will benefit The Salvation Army’s 15 Cooling Station throughout the Metroplex. The Cooling Stations provide visitors cool beverages and snacks in a well air conditioned facility.
