In North Eastern #Kenya, @CARE is helping six pastoralist and agro-pastoralist communities build their resilience to a changing climate through its Adaptation Learning Programme (ALP). In this photo, young men are coping with income loss due to increasing livestock deaths by making wooden poles. In this area, villagers are most impacted by an increase in #drought frequency and a decrease in rainfall intensity and distribution, as well as more intense rains and floods, including flash floods. This photo is part of a participatory photo storytelling project that supports local people in telling how they are impacted and coping in their own voice.
