Residents of the IDP camp at the Catholic Mission in Duekoue houses more than 10,000 post-election violence refugees from the #IvoryCoast. Here, people make homes and shelters out of whatever materials they can find.

Residents have access to CARE's "listening center," where people can meet one-on-one with a social worker to talk through their feelings of grief, anger, sadness and revenge. The listening center serves as a crucial first step towards thwarting potential acts of revenge and providing people with the psychosocial support they need to rebuild their lives.
