Army medic from N.J. killed in Iraq The Associated Press FORT RICHARDSON Alaska — A paratrooper from New Jersey has been killed in Iraq an Army spokesman said April 30. Sgt. Michael R. Hullender29 of Little Falls was killed by a roadside bomb while on foot patrol April 28 in Iskandariyah Capt. Richard C. Hyde said in a statement. Hullender was a medic who joined the Army in September 1998 and was assigned to Fort Richardson Alaska in May 2005. He was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company 1st Battalion 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) 25th Infantry Division. The Army said two other paratroopers were injured in the incident. One was listed as seriously injured and one listed as not seriously injured. Both were evacuated to the 28th Combat Support Hospital in Iraq Hyde said. Operation Iraqi Freedom
