The pendant on this 16" necklace is a gorgeous half of an Art Nouveau sash buckle. The beautiful woman's hair swirls and floats all over the buckle appearing to entwine itself into almost floral forms. Just shy of about 2" across and 1.25" tall the buckle is an oxidized gray color with some brassy gold color showing thru...An antique silver tone watch chain with a large circle clasp is combined with a heavily oxidized double curb chain to support the pendant. A vintage rhinestone bead acts almost as an earring for this fair maiden. I love her steady gaze as the elements rush and howl around her...she seems serenely centered. Could that centeredness be her most beautiful asset ???
