 of Plain City Ohio; assigned to the 2nd Squadron 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment Fort Irwin Calif.;  Died April 23 in Baghdad of injuries sustained in Iskandariyah Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee.  * * * * *  Family friends bid farewell to Ohio soldier  Associated Press  Kevin Prince joined the Army for the opportunities it afforded — he wanted to go to college.  Spc. Prince22 who was with the 2nd Squadron 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment out of Fort Irwin Calif. was killed April 23 by a roadside bomb while he was on patrol in Iskandariyah Iraq.  More than 100 mourners attended a memorial service Saturday for Prince in North Woodbury Ohio 45 miles northeast of Columbus. Visitation with the family was Sunday at a funeral home before Prince was buried at a cemetery in Plain City where he grew up.  Pictures at the memorial showed Prince wearing a black tuxedo with a prom date and in fatigues holding a rifle.  His sister-in-law Ember Prince said God sent Kevin Prince to Iraq to help “protect the freedom we enjoy everyday.”  Operation Iraqi Freedom
