Navy Airman Apprentice Adrian M. Campos remembered The Associated Press Adrian M. Campos22 of El Paso Texas Died in a Dubai hotel April 21 while off duty. He was a 2003 high school graduate and was assigned to the USNS Arctic. Carlos Campos described his younger brother as an outgoing person who enjoyed helping others. “He was the life of the party” he said. He planned to open a car repair shop when he eventually left the Navy. His sister Vanessa Valenvuela said Adrian was always ready to help others. “He was my younger brother but he acted like an older brother — he was very protective of me” she said. “He was the life of the party and always enjoyed himself but if anything was ever wrong he’d be right there trying to fix it. He’d be the one offering to help out rather than asking for help. That’s the kind of person he was.” He also is survived by his wife Sylvia and a 1-year-old daughter Gaby.Operation Iraqi freedom
