Paul, we'll be honest. That sounds like you're sneakily blaming the songs (chosen by you) for people not liking the performances. And that your songs are actually better than those which have survived the test of time.

Be modest, dude! That show has given you huge opportunities (such as dating the girl from Twilight)! Give it some props!
