 of Margate Fla.; 2nd Tank Battalion 2nd Marine Division II Marine Expeditionary Force Camp Lejeune N.C.; killed April 15 when his Humvee struck an improvised explosive device during combat operations in Anbar province Iraq. Also killed were: Lance Cpl. Derrick J. Cothran Lance Cpl. Justin D. Sims and Pfc. Ryan G. Winslow.  Margate Marine killed in Iraq  MARGATE Fla. — A Marine from Florida was killed by an improvised explosive device in Iraq the Department of Defense said Monday.  Cpl. Pablo V. Mayorga33 of Margate  Died Saturday along with three other soldiers.  The four Marines were on combat operations in the Al Anbar province in western Iraq when the explosive device struck their vehicle the Defense Department said.  Also killed in the attack were Lance Cpl. Derrick J. Cothran21 of Avondale La. Lance Cpl. Justin D. Sims22 of Covington Ky. and Pfc. Ryan G. Winslow19 of Jefferson Ala.  Mayorga Cothran and Winslow were assigned to the 2nd Tank Battalion 2nd Marine Division II Marine Expeditionary Force. Sims was assigned to 3rd Battalion 8th Marine Regiment 2nd Marine Division II Marine Expeditionary Force. Both units are based at Camp Lejeune N.C.
