On 03-12-2011 at approximately 6:30am.Missisquoi Valley Rescue(MVR),Swanton fire department,Vermont State Police(VSP)responded to Rt.7 for a male struck by a pickup truck.The male who was struck lost control of his vehicle and struck some mailboxes.He got out of his vehicle to get help when an on coming truck struck him throwing him approximately 50ft.The man was transported in serious condition by MVR to NorthWestern Medical Center in St.Albans then later to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington by MVR.The accident remains under investigation by VSP.
