I remember that! We were sooooo frustrated for you and soooo sorry it had to happen to you Jonathan.
It's not like you poked yourself in the eye with a bee. You had a real problem, I don't understand why you were not allowed treatment. But there lost and our gain, we might not have Garmin-Chipotle otherwise. :)
I took one in (yes, in) the ear once on some cartilage, but the swelling wasn't nearly that bad. :)
I was barelling down a hill once and got a beesting on...let's say my inner thigh. At least the swelling HELPED.
I hate it that cycling is so tainted by doping that legitimate medical problems can't be treated.

Gawd. I remember that. I also remember how frustrated he was the ASO/UCI wouldn't let him take some medicine to reduce it.
