Build it and they will come. Automotive press from around the world rose early as Li-ion Motors opened the second day of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Media from the U.S., Canada, Germany, China, Japan, Brazil and England among other countries came to hear Li-ion announce that the Wave II, winner of the Progressive Automotive X Prize, would be the first car from that competition to move from prototype to production. They were equally impressed with the Wave's faster, stronger brother, the Inizio supercar which will also hit the market in 2011. Secured reservations for each of Li-ion Motors all electric vehicles were opened to the public this week with immediate response.
