Anyone who has ever lived in Egypt knows or remembers with fondness the mouth-watering aroma of Egyptian Shammy hot bread just coming out of the oven, or when it is made falafel or Fool sandwiches.

And anyone who visited Luxor and Aswan, and spent any time in their hotels, knows or remembers with fondness the Theme hotels' special ovens that baked the Southern Egyptian bread especially for the visitors right while they watched.

And anyone who has been away from Egypt for any measure of time, and is planning to go back, must psych him\herself for life in Egypt!

But when I see this picture of what was once a memory-invoking experience for human taste buds, I cringe ...! ... Is this what I will be coming to eat in Egypt? ... And should I plan to bring a Home-Bread-making machine along with me?
