1stアルバムThe Amazing Blondel (1970 Bell Records)から数えて7枚目になる"Inspiration"は初期とは一味違ったブリテイッシュ・スワンプ風味の薫り高き一枚です。元を正せばFREEの前座を務めるなどしたロックバンドでしたが、演奏の途中にリュートなどの古楽器を持ち出し宮廷音楽の物まねが観客からうけたのがきっかけでJohn Gladwin (Vo,,Vib,Glocken)とTerry　Wincott (Guitar,Bongo,Vo)の二人により1970年に結成されました。（＾＾
