An experimental contribution to the "Ghost Moon" debate at http://is.gd/gicHP in near-real time: The skies are clear and so I shot the Moon (now waning gibbous) with a point & shoot camera at full optical zoom and severely overexposed. There you have your ghost, though of a different shape & color as the optics are different, too.
