BETRAYAL OF TRUST We will never know, just how many Irish children were raped and abused by paedophilia in Ireland but we do know, that those in positions of authority like Gerry Adams, were deliberately deaf to those who desperately wanted someone to help. Police, teachers, civil servants, judiciary and politicians are STILL collaborating to create a morally corrupt definition of authority by any standards anywhere in the world. This corrupt hierarchical power is still personified by absolute blind sheep like obedience, unwavering unquestioning loyalty and enabling purposely blind denial, which STILL sacrifices the innocence of thousands upon thousands of Irish children to avoid family scandal, vanity and pride, that aids and abets the most foul of human crimes. Why are Irish people still allowing this to happen? Why? Why? Why ? Is there something particular in Irish society, that facilitates a mindset, that accepts a culture of secret behaviour of blindly embracing perverse notions of superiority? Where has this entrenched fear of offending the apparently powerful come from? Does a hierarchical imbalance of political, economic and social authority create centralised institutions characterised by monarchical structures occupied by princes of privilege? Institutions and a society devoid of accountability and naked of responsibility, which pretends to live with those who would call themselves republican? Post the horrific Ryan report, the proper questions are still not being asked . Instead, a culture of ingrained, programmed, sheepish, powerlessness is still normal. This Irish subservient thinking has become a shroud of impunity for politicians like Adams in positions of power. Resignation in his instance was not mentioned mainstream, if it happens it will be politely requested, not demanded as it would and should be in any healthy society. Even when those Bishops resign, they are accompanied by golden handshakes as a form of apology for asking them in the first place. Ireland has had the Ryan report into child abuse in State institutions, the Morris tribunal into Garda corruption, the McCracken, Mahon and Moriarty tribunals into political corruption. All have exposed the corrupt nature of power in Ireland without even touching the rotten nature of Widgery's in occupied Ireland. Other inquiries include the Finlay, Lindsay, Laffoy, Lourdes, Ferns, Barr, Dunne, Madden and we also have had tribunals sponsored by the State, to what ? To confirm what every mongrel on an Irish street already knows, that these political lowlifes are leeches of the people, risen to power on another man's wound or another woman's corpse ! The moral bankruptcy of Ireland's financial institutions and professions lies bare. The self-perpetuating abuse of power has become systematic over time. The learned behaviour is dutifully passed down as normal by successive generations without any serious challenge to its obvious rotten nature. The cycle of abuse has infected every part of public and private morality. The end product is this dishonest Irish complacent mindset passively condoning breaches of trust in all aspects of our lives including the rampant rape of children and trampling on the most vulnerable. The corruption of power by those in positions of authority such as Gerry Adams, perpetuates a loss of trust in the integrity and capability of Irish public life, even by recent liberation pretenders. We did know of their nature, we just looked the other way !.
