Here is the mainboard of a Magic 32B I de bricked two weeks back. Note I used ground from the top board [not shown] not the main board (a strip of copper was exposed around the edge easier to attach to) If you do this make sure both boards are well attached by the connecting wire before attaching power to your JTAG.
