An internal reworking of code inside my BBCode renderer library allowed me to reduce its complexity significantly. The new code is on the left, old code on the right. You can see how much simpler and shorter the new code is. And the old code calls into more horribly complex code that the new code simply doesn't need to use any more. Epic win!
