Japanese conventional wisdom suggests that the sweet things in life, aka regular pocky, are preferred by women. But Glico broke the mold and now Pocky is socially acceptable for all. Hooray for change!

I like "Men's" Pocky better than the gender neutral varieties -- the chocolate is better, and it's on a pretzel instead of the usual bland cookie stick. OTOH, my husband prefers the original pocky.

I've seen this before, and a lot. I've always wondered why it's called that and what the difference is between this and regular Pocky, but I've never foudn out.
