The Idaho Transportation reminds drivers that the westbound lanes of I-84 will be closed between the Garrity Boulevard and Franklin Boulevard interchanges tonight (Thursday, July 1) to finish setting girders for the new 11th Avenue Bridge. In addition, the eastbound interstate will be reduced to one overnight in the area. The westbound lanes will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. The single eastbound lane reduction will run from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. A detour route will be used during the westbound complete closure. Flaggers will direct interstate travelers along the detour below:
