State of my painting desk as Comic Con nears! Skellies in Oz, nod to Klimt, & a piece of wood that calls me God! Yes, there are no less than 17 paintings sitting there being painted. Usually I don't work on so many at once, but I had such a list of ideas for Comic Con that I went through and did the underpaint for each one. While I wait for one to dry, I just move onto the next one! As you may have noticed, I am working on a skelly version of my Morbidly Adorable Oz set. They look really weird as skeletons! Especially when you see a green skelly with her bony flying monkey! There is a nod to Klimt's piece "The Kiss" sitting on the pile. I also have a random piece of wood that I'm painting! I started painting on it after saving its life. It was destined for the camp fire, but I waved my hand in the air, and it was spared! I am that wood's God! I had some basic paint colors with me, so I started working on it while we were camping. It's kind of a problem I have!

Anyway, if that looks like a lot, you should see the bigger pieces I have sitting around:) I'm excited to get them finished and hung for the show!

XOXO!!
