【MOZUKU (thin and jelly like seaweed in OKINAWA) TAIYAKI】
MOZUKU is seaweed which is often eaten as cool SUNOMONO, which means certain ingredients (vegetables and see food etc.) are in clear vinegar sauce, in Japan.
More than 90% of MOZUKU grows (or produces) in sea off OKINAWA.
It is said that the jelly-ish substance fucoidan has recently gathered attention as “an infection fighter” which helps human immune system.
MOZUKU has nil-energy and rich dietary fibers. Good for diet!!! I hope.
I stir-fried MOZUKU and add KINPIRA GOBO.
MOZUKU and KINPIRA have their own moisture (water), so, I just add SHIRATAMAKO (glutinous rice powder) to make hard dough for TAIYAKI.
Very light with flavor of sea and mochi-mochi(glutinous). Yummy!!!
