Grant Park is located in South Phoenix just minutes away from Chase Field and downtown. You can tell the neighborhood has its struggles, but the modest homes in the area have kept up lawns. People care about his area and it shows.

After doing research on Grant Park I’ve learned that several weekends a month, Roosevelt Community Church uses the facilities as a way to connect and build relationships with families in this neighborhood. They also spend time playing with the local children in an attempt to teach them the importance of God.

South Central Phoenix is another up and coming neighborhood, adorned with artist studios, Arizona local businesses, next time you are in the area for a ball game, drive around and appreciate the history just minutes south of downtown.
