Guoman & Thistle Hotels adds a little shine to Oxford Street with community Spring clean. Over fifty eager colleagues from Guoman & Thistle Hotels’ Oxford Street properties recently joined forces to give London’s busy shopping street a hearty, community-spirited clean-up. The expert housekeeping departments from the group’s two neighbouring hotels; Guoman’s The Cumberland and Thistle Marble Arch, enthusiastically gathered up colleagues to become hands-on volunteers and give their shared Oxford Street location a real spruce-up for summer. In the style of a 60 minute makeover, the cleaning teams took to their surrounding streets with their steam cleaners, dusters and litter bags in hand to donate a whole hour of their time to make the public areas around the hotel’s front entrances; on Oxford Street and Great Cumberland Place, absolutely spotless.

The teams, that are very well-practiced in keeping their hotels spic and span for guests were able to really make a difference to what was, the New West End Company’s (NWEC) 2nd annual Oxford Street Clean initiative.
