1988 (Ireland)- Photographer John Sheehans on this photo: Bernard Allen as Lord Mayor of Cork met Michael Jackson back stage in Pairc Ui Chaoimh in 1988. I was the lucky photographer there to capture the moment. I brought a selection of shots taken earlier of Michael arriving at Cork Airport and sugested to the Lord Mayor to have Michael autograph them. When Michael saw the photos he looked through them with excitement, laughing and jumping around. He had no problem in autographing them, but he asked to keep a few of the shots for himself.
