It is my understanding of the Washington, DC flag that the design was taken from a slave ship logo that was on one of George Washington's slave ships...with that in mind we offer a new DC Flag more symbolic of the anti-slavery and self-government sentiment present in DC...long live self-government and anti-slavery sentiment.
