Its a Cadmium Selenide (CdSe) single nanocrystal Quantum Dots. QDs emit colored light based on the size of the QD. Smaller the QD the more blue, larger the more red--like red and blue shifting of stars.
What does this actually represent? Excuse my maladroitness, but I am not sure I fully grasp the ramifications. Can anyone explain to me @savagecolors twitter?
