Anandtech comparing a phone to a tablet computer. And? Because the iPad is literally about 4 to 8 times the size of a phone and has about half the hardware capabilities. The nexus (or any smartphone/pda for that matter) needs to fit inside a MUCH smaller compartment with half again as many parts (3g, bluetooth, usb) while running on a MUCH smaller battery. It's like releasing a news article about your average PC being faster than most laptops. If anything, I like how this chart shows that the Nexus is faster than the iPhone.
